G.R.E.E.N. Bean Clean-Up Trailer

The Erie Soil and Water Conservation District (Erie SWCD) and the Erie County Solid Waste District (Erie County SWD) is pleased to announce the G.R.E.E.N Bean Clean-up Trailer is now available to volunteer groups that wish to have a clean-up or beautification event in their city, village or township of Erie County. It is FREE of charge to any group consisting of ten volunteers or more.

The trailer is fully equipped with tools and all the necessary equipment for a successful cleanup event. The trailer is available to be picked up or dropped off at location*. We ask that you contact either District office for trailer availability or to reserve for a specific date.

G.R.E.E.N. Bean Includes :

Liability waivers available at request.

• Must be used in Erie County
• Must have a designated coordinator
• Designated coordinator will assume responsibility for the following:
  • Completion and submittal of G.R.E.E.N Bean Clean-up Trailer Application
  • Pick up and drop off of trailer unless arranged otherwise (2” ball hitch required)
  • Provide proof of automobile insurance with application
• Ensure all participants using the equipment from the trailer have completed all Liability Waivers.
  • Confirmation of equipment inventory prior to receipt of trailer and upon return of trailer with District personnel.
  • Distributing supplies to participants and ensuring all equipment is operated safely. Retrieving supplies once participants have completed the project.
  • Properly securing the trailer and all its contents.
  • Making sure trailer is clean and free of all debris upon return.
  • Ensuring proper parking of the trailer in the project area
  • Replacement of any missing items or items not returned in the condition they were received (normal wear and tear excluded).
  • Completion of a Cleanup Summary Form.
  • Submittal of Cleanup Summary Form and all signed Liability Waivers to District.
